PVT Hugh Marshall Brown
Today we honor and remember PVT Hugh Marshall Brown of the 101st Airborne Division, who was killed in The Battle of the Bulge.
Like Charlie Battery, 81st Airborne Anti-Aircraft Battalion, mentioned in yesterday’s story of PVT William B. Rogers, the 377th Parachute Filed Artillery Battalion supported the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment at the northwestern part of the Bastogne perimeter, near Champs, Longchamps, and Monaville.
Private Hugh Marshall Brown of Able Battery, 377th PFAB, was killed in action on December 30, 1944. Another Screaming Eagle had soared to the ultimate height. 🦅
Born in Mound, Coryell County, Texas, on July 14, 1921, Hugh M. Brown died at the age of 23. He left behind his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Crockett M. Brown, two sisters, and a brother.

PVT Brown was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery Grand Failly, France, at Plot A, Row 4, Grave 80, which was located next to the grave that PVT William B. Rogers was buried in. He now rests eternally at the American War Cemetery Luxembourg, at Plot A, Row 2, Grave 19.
He was posthumously awarded a Purple Heart Medal.
Lest we forget! 🇺🇸
God Speed Hugh Marshall Brown 🫡🇺🇸🫡
